SBI Clerk Syllabus 2017

The Syllabus for SBI Clerk Exam is as Follows:

Preliminary Examination:

1. English Language

2. Numerical Ability

3. Reasoning Ability

Main Examination:

1. General/ Financial Awareness

2. General English

3. Quantitative Aptitude

4. Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude

The questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be printed bilingual i.e., English & Hindi.

SBI Clerks Exam Pattern: State Bank of India recruits Clerks on the basis of performance of the candidates in on-line test (preliminary & main examinations), test of official and/ or local language and subject to Government of India approval, interview. Exam Pattern Details:  State Bank of India Clerks Selection Process is based on on-line test (preliminary & main examinations), test of official and/ or local language and subject to Government of India approval, interview.

Exam Pattern:- Examination will consists of two Phases, Viz.
Phase-I :
Preliminary Examination: Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1 hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows:

Note-III: Other detailed information regarding the examination will be given in the ‘Acquaint Yourself’ booklet, which will be made available to the eligible candidates along with the call letter for the test.

Test of knowledge of official and/or local language: Those who produce 10th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied official (local) language will not be subjected to any Language test. In case of others, language test will be conducted at the time of interview (if interview is held)/ before final selection (if interview is not held).

Candidates not found to be proficient in official and/or local language would be disqualified.
